TREATMENTS

Microneedling

Microneedling is a popular treatment for achieving various skin health benefits with minimal downtime. This procedure tightens the skin and promotes collagen production, resulting in a smoother and more youthful appearance. This service pairs well with other add-on facial services, including dermaplaning and LED Light Therapy.

Microneedling with Natural Growth Factors or Exosomes

This treatment uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate your skin’s natural healing process. Collagen growth is stimulated using fine needles over the skin. The addition of PRP from the blood or exosomes (stem cells) improves the skins tone & smooths out any imperfections. A series of 3 is typically recommended & results last 12 mos or more.

RF Microneedling

RF microneedling is an advanced cosmetic treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology to deliver a more comprehensive skin rejuvenation solution. This treatment uses tiny needles to create microchannels in the skin, which are then filled with radiofrequency energy to enhance collagen and elastin production. RF microneedling can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation while also tightening and lifting the skin.

FAQs

Microneedling uses a device with small needles to create tiny microchannels in the skin. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improving the skin’s overall texture and tone.
Microneedling is generally well-tolerated and causes minimal discomfort. Our experienced practitioners will ensure your comfort during the treatment.
The number of microneedling sessions needed to see results will vary depending on the individual and the treatment area. Most patients require 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Our practitioners will help you develop a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your desired results.
Typically the healing time depends on the severity of the damaged skin and the depth of the procedure. Most commonly there may be some redness that resembles mild sunburn. This may last for 2-4 days. Some patients may have the redness dissipate within 24 hours. The skin will be pink or red in appearance for 24-48 hours, much like a sunburn with some minor bleeding and very occasionally some mild bruising. The skin may also feel warm, tight, and itchy for a short while. Generally, the inflammatory reaction of the skin is short and fades significantly after a couple of days. Patients with a more sensitive skin type or older patients may take longer to fully recover.
Use tepid water to cleanse the face for the first 48 hours following treatment and drying the area gently without rubbing. Always use clean hands to avoid infection. Avoid applying makeup products for the first 12 hours following treatment. Your aesthetician will advise you on use of appropriate, gentle skincare following the treatment. It can take between 6-8 weeks before visible signs of skin regeneration are seen and the process will continue to evolve over the ensuing months providing a gradual improvement.

Patients may notice healthier-looking skin right away. However, keep in mind that dermal collagen remodeling occurs over time and it would not be realistic to expect damage that has happened to the skin over a long period of time to disappear right away. We suggest a series of 3-6 sessions depending on what the treatment is for. Individuals may not see final results until 3-6 months following the last appointment.
After a small blood draw, your clinician will apply a topical anesthetic to your face. Then they’ll pass over it with a microneedling pen or derma-roller. These devices prick tiny holes in your skin, stimulating its natural healing processes – and creating channels for the Natural Growth Factor Injections. In addition, the tiny breaks in the skin stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin which allows for facial rejuvenation by reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles and scars. The microneedling portion of the procedure typically takes about 30 minutes – giving your clinician plenty of time to centrifugate that blood sample into Natural Growth Factor Injections. Next, your clinician will massage the Natural Growth Factor Injections into the treated areas of the skin.. This helps the platelets and beneficial growth factors in Natural Growth Factor Injections penetrate deep into your skin so they can work their rejuvenating magic. Finally, your clinician will apply a balm to your face to reduce redness and irritation. The treatment usually takes less than two hours in total, and it has little to no downtime. Many patients return to work the next day.
